Medical Mission

Student volunteers and healthcare professionals travel to Vietnam to support clinics, assess need, provide care within scope, and connect patients to additional treatment when needed.

Every summer, student volunteers and healthcare professionals from MEMO's chapters travel to underserved communities in Vietnam to help deliver care in the field.

During clinic days, volunteers support patient intake, crowd control, triage, dental care, pharmacy, consultation, EKG, ultrasound, and other treatment stations while learning from licensed providers.

Patients whose needs go beyond what can be treated on site are referred onward so they can access hospital care and longer-term treatment.
