Donation Policy
M.E.M.O. (Medical, Educational Missions & Outreach) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions made through this website are intended to support MEMO's charitable mission and related programs.
Tax-Deductible Contributions
Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. MEMO's EIN is 26-2349888. Donors will receive a confirmation and receipt after a donation is successfully processed.
Use Of Funds
Donations are used to support MEMO's charitable programs, operations needed to deliver those programs, and fundraising activities that sustain the organization's work. When campaign-specific giving options are offered, MEMO will make reasonable efforts to use those funds in alignment with the selected purpose. If a campaign or restricted purpose is fully funded, unavailable, or no longer feasible, MEMO may redirect the donation to a closely related charitable use.
Processing
Online donations are processed through MEMO's approved payment tools. If a donor believes a donation was made in error, they should contact help@aboutmemo.org as soon as possible.
Large Gifts
For major donations, sponsorship-style support, or special gift instructions, donors should contact help@aboutmemo.org before completing the transaction online.
