FAQFAQ content should lower friction and reduce uncertainty for first-time visitors.
Who can join MEMO?

Anyone can support the mission, and student participation typically happens through active campus chapters and community involvement.

Do I have to be pre-med, Vietnamese, or from one specific school?

No. MEMO's mission is broader than any one academic path or identity. The organization welcomes supporters and volunteers from many backgrounds.

How do students go on the mission trip?

Mission participation is typically based on consistent involvement across the year, including meetings, fundraising, events, and service. MEMO notes that applications are usually available in January and selections happen in February.

When are mission trips usually held?

Mission trips have historically taken place during the summer and are typically around two weeks long.

How much does it cost to go on mission?

Travel costs vary by year. MEMO listed a $200 deposit that goes toward the programs, airfare around $900–$1200, and food, transportation, and hotel around $600, but these numbers should be updated before launch if they are reused.

Can I donate directly on the website?

Online giving is being set up. Until the secure donation form is live, supporters can contact help@aboutmemo.org for the best current giving option.

How can I sponsor the gala or make a larger gift?

Visit the sponsors page for published sponsorship opportunities, or contact help@aboutmemo.org for custom support.

Can I start a MEMO chapter at my school?

If chapter growth is not currently open, direct interested students to contact help@aboutmemo.org for the latest guidance.
