Hepatitis B Program
Supporting hepatitis B education, awareness, screening, and prevention.
Hepatitis B Program
This program grew from grant-funded work focused on hepatitis B prevalence, education, prevention, and awareness in Vietnamese communities locally and abroad.
In 2012, MEMO submitted a grant proposal to support a new Hepatitis B Program focused on awareness, prevention, and screening.
The program received $52,763.62 in support through the UNAVSA Collective Philanthropy Project.
The program's goals include determining prevalence in rural areas, vaccinating neonates, reducing mother-to-child transmission, screening high-risk individuals, and expanding education in both Vietnam and the United States.
